Custom Orders
Nolie Marie Wilson is available for custom commissions. Their schedule varies widely, dependent on Nolie’s health and other obligations, so please allow as much time as you can for the creation of your piece(s). Some items, such as dishwares, may use glazes, varnishes, or dyes that require time to cure or set before they may be shipped, or used in your home, adding to the allotted creation time. Nolie suggests including as much information as possible about your project in your initial email, as this will assist them in determining the complexity of the project, and the cost of materials, so they can provide you an estimate of what their price will be. This would include your desired choice of media (Psanka, seder plate, quilled flowers for a bridal party, etc.), whether there is a particular deadline it is required for, IE wedding or anniversary date, any inspiration images for aesthetic or theme, whether from Nolie’s site or elsewhere. If you are asking Nolie to incorporate existing images as a major element, please be sure you hold the copyright, or have the copyright holder’s permission, or expect that Nolie will adapt the image with enough changes that your piece will be unique and derivative, rather than a direct copy. Nolie will be happy to drill down into your inspiration to find a way to translate those elements into a one of a kind work of art you will treasure.
